<description>The Bangalore Tamil Sangam had already done the damge by unnecessarily erecting a statue of Tiruvalluvar near the banks of Ulsoor Lake and kept it hidden under gunny bag because of the protest from some fanatics to its unveling, NOT knowing the greatness of Tiruvalluvar and his Kural. The tendency of the Tamils that reverence is revealed only by erecting statues should go. Instead of keeping Tiruvalluvar tied inside gunny bag for more than a decade, the Bangalore Tamil sangam could have printed thousands and thousands copies of Kannada and English versions of Tirukkural and distributed free to schools and colleges and libraries in Karnataka, a fitting regard for Tiruvalluvar. IT would have been a real tribute and homage to Tiruvalluvar.

<description>None can “damage” the “image” of Thirukkural and Mahatma Gandhi!

Thiruvalluvar showed the way of living while Gandhiji showed it practically through(out) his life. It is only the individuals who care and who don’t. But both “Thirukkural” and “Gandhiji” will remain the same forever! Because, certain goods things will never change!

People can only speak well/otherwise about “Thirukkural” / “Gandhiji” but it is always better to “do” it rather than “say” it!
